Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing company in the beverage industry, is seeking a Control State Manager to lead market performance and execution plans within control state markets. This role focuses on driving new item authorizations, optimizing in-market programs, managing budgets, and achieving distribution gains.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage control state operational knowledge and prior experience
- Analyze NABCA, IRI, and distributor depletions data to identify opportunities
- Secure new item authorizations within state guidelines and timelines
- Optimize pricing support budgets to boost sales during key periods
- Build strong collaboration with brokers, distributors, and Region Managers
- Develop and implement on-premise programs to expand presence
- Provide consistent market insights and performance updates to leadership
Preferred Candidate Qualities
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of experience in consumer goods; spirits and 3-tier distribution preferred
- Proven track record of sales management and achieving goals
- Strong relationships with distributors and key accounts
- Located in Michigan (MI) or Pennsylvania (PA) preferred
